Email Marketing on Tripod With Constant Contact

Tripod has partnered with Constant Contact to bring you the premier email marketing and list management platform for small business.

Email newsletters are a great way to get customers and prospects interested in what you’re doing and to get them to take action.They're fast and inexpensive to create and more effective than regular emails.

You don’t need special technical or design skills either. Constant Contact makes it easy for you to create your newsletter with one-click editing and more than 400 templates to choose from.

Constant Contact helps you build and manage your lists too. For example, there’s a Join My Mailing List button for your website and your Facebook profile or fan page to help you collect email addresses. You also can import your email addresses from Gmail, Microsoft Outlook and other applications.

This Month with Webon

Here's what's new with the Webon site builder this month:

We're putting the finishing touches on new widgets for Last.fm, Flickr and Facebook. Those will be ready within a week or so.

Also, we tweaked the Google Map add-on so it works more reliably with Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer.

All our add-ons are a snap to use. Open a webpage, click the Add-ons menu item, select one and drag and drop it on to your page.

New styles -- We've also added some new layouts this month, bringing the total number of available styles to 117.

Webon Tip

When was the last time you changed your Tripod password? Computer security experts advise changing your passwords every 90 days. Here's how to change yours:

Login.
Click the My Account tab.
Click Control Panel
Under the "Membership Information" heading, click the Change Your Membership Information link
Enter a new password
Click Confirm

Your password should be a minimum of eight characters and be a mix of upper- and lowercase letters and at least one number.
